Own My Week (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Own My Week (the “Service”), you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo. We do not see or store your Google password.
Planner data
We store the data you enter into Own My Week — categories, weekly blocks, settings, confirmed weeks, and goal progress. This data is scoped to your account and is only readable by you.
Billing information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares a customer ID, subscription status, and billing country with us so we can grant access to paid features.
Usage information
We collect minimal technical information needed to run the Service: request logs, error reports, and basic device/browser information. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the planner, save your data, and sync across devices.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process subscriptions and grant access to Pro features.
- To send transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts, and trial-expiration notices.
- To diagnose bugs and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your planner content to train AI models.
3. Where your data lives
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) and hosted on infrastructure managed by Supabase and Vercel. Billing data is held by Stripe. These providers are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.
4. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from the Settings page, your account row, planner data, and confirmed weeks are removed within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. tax records held by Stripe).
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can:
- Update your email or password from the Settings page.
- Export your planner data by emailing us (see Contact below).
- Delete your account from the Settings page, which removes your personal data from our systems.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Children
Own My Week is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-product before they take effect.
